Our second meet of the year turned out to be one of the best by far and it was nice to get back down to Rhode Island again to see faces both familiar and new. First and foremost, we would like to thank Andrew Plante and Jeff Lavery from Boston Chapter BMW CCA, as well as Oxford Motorcars for hosting us today. The event had to have been our most unique by far, and it’s really all thanks to our inspirational hosts. The appearance of Oxford Motorcars’ deceivingly modest brick facade houses a collection of cars as beautiful as they are numerous, so what could be a better environment for a lesson on the importance of M20 valve adjustments all while getting to eat a blueberry muffin? We honestly can’t think of one. Even after learning a little more about maintaining the cars we love and exploring Oxford’s diverse selection of vintage gems (a Batmobile?!), we got to check out all the impressive rides everyone brought out to the meet :) The warm and sunny weather was perfect for highlighting every part of what goes into each of those cars, and we don’t know about you, but it got us really excited for the rest of the season! Thank you again to the guys at Boston Chapter BMW CCA, everyone at Oxford Motorsports, and of course all of you who came out today and every other meet. We can’t wait to see you at the next one!
